Turkey in Caja China
If you're looking to do something different this year for your turkey, I highly recommend the Caja China box. Known as the "magic" box, it's most often used to roast a whole pig but it works incredibly well for a turkey.
Thanksgiving Turkey Guide!
Everyone gets so freaked out about their Thanksgiving turkey. Fresh or frozen? How many pounds? To brine or not to brine? How long to cook? Stuff it or not? How often should it be basted? Stop, take a deep breath. I’ve got you covered.
Maple Pudding Cake
Every once in awhile, I have a recipe that surprises me. My culinary producer, Tim Macklin, asked me to come up with a recipe for a maple pudding cake. I decided to mimic my grandma's recipe for peach cobbler. The cake is more like biscuits, and instead of fruit on the bottom, I would make a thick, rich, creamy maple layer.
Mediterranean Shrimp "Cheat Sheet"
Katie Lee shares her Mediterranean Shrimp “Cheat Sheet” recipe! For a cheat sheet, everything goes onto one sheet pan and is baked in the oven. We like eating at home, especially during the week, so we really have time to hang out with each other and be with our precious pup, Gus.
Roll into Summer
You guys know I love my carbs. Pizza, pasta, mac and cheese, mashed potatoes – just a few of my faves. This summer I discovered a new love, the brand new Sara Lee Artesano Bakery Buns & Rolls.
Beastie Burgers
The second I land in Los Angeles, my mouth starts to water in anticipation of the famous In-N-Out Burger. I love a double-double, animal style (that's code for double beef, double cheese, grilled onions and extra sauce). I'm not ashamed to admit that there was an occasion that I ate THREE in one sitting. Definitely didn't feel so hot the next day, but it was so good going down. Anyhoo, I decided to try to recreate these burgers in my kitchen. The results were even better than I expected! Definitely, try this at home.

Chicken and Broccoli Twice-Baked Spaghetti Squash
I like to eat, portion control is not an option for me! Ha ha! So, I have to create healthy meals that I love but won't feel guilty about eating. This chicken and broccoli twice-baked spaghetti squash is one of those meals. It's so good, and so filling and so guilt free - spaghetti squash is only 42 calories per cup and it's full of fiber! I also love this because it can be a main dish, or with just a simple omission of chicken, it can be a side dish for a larger meal.
Prosciutto Wrapped Figs & Gorgonzola
I'm not a fan of cheese plates before dinner because they tend to be too filling, but I do love cheese, so these are a nice compromise. I get to have my cake (well, cheese) and eat it, too. If you can't find fresh figs, try using sliced peaches.
Comfort Pot Roast
People always ask me what my favorite comfort food is, and it just might be pot roast. For me, there's nothing better on a cold day than a hearty pot roast. The house will smell so good with it slow cooking in the oven all day. Serve it with delicate chive buttered noodles or mashed potatoes.
Chive Buttered Egg Noodle
Chive Buttered Egg Noodle. These noodles are so easy and delicious! The chives add just the right touch of flavor and bright green color.
Cauliflower Rice
This Chicken Cauliflower Fried Rice is the perfect one-pan dinner. Portion control is not an option for me - I like mass quantities - so I have to create meals that are healthy and satisfying.
